Launching the trailblazing seltzer brand in the UK

The challenge

White Claw Hard Seltzer launched in the USA in May 2016 and was a trailblazer as one of the first hard seltzer brands to launch Stateside, with a great taste and unparalleled refreshment.

It quickly became the leading hard seltzer brand in the United States, surging forward and enjoying huge growth in its sector. Five years later, they were ready to launch the product here in the UK and required a sampling agency to bring White Claw to the British market with a bang.

We were tasked with introducing and bringing White Claw to life through sampling and getting the brand in hand across UK events and festivals. To do this, we devised a sampling strategy that hit thirsty consumers when they really needed the ‘Claw’!

The strategy

A super stylish branded VW camper kept samples chilled for the perfect serve. We selected, recruited and trained an experienced, diverse team of exceptional, talented staff for this activity.

Our staff were responsible for managing the logistics of stock levels, team management, engagement with customers and raising brand awareness through conversation and sampling.
